Medicis Gets Green Light for Botox Alternative

Medicis Pharmaceutical said it has secured federal approval to begin marketing its anti-wrinkle drug that will rival Botox. The Scottsdale-based company will begin selling its new drug, called Dysport, within 30 to 60 days, the time needed to train sales staff and doctors and to establish a price for the cosmetic product. The same injections, though generally using a greater volume of fat, were performed on the weaker right side. Then, switching to a 21-gauge needle, I returned to the left side, injecting more superficially and in a cross-radial manner into the lateral mental hollow and surrounding area.
