Old Navy Store Fire Extinguished by Sprinkler

Museum Fire Extinguised by Sprinkler

A malfunctioning microwave oven sparked a small fire in a utility room attached to the kitchen area of the Smyrna Town Museum in Delaware, state fire officials said. No Sprinklers at Shelton High Fire in Connecticut

A three alarm blaze broke out at Shelton High School in Shelton, Conn. Luckily, school was not in session, but a recent investigation revealed that the section of the school where the fire started did not have a sprinkler system. The fire broke out in a second floor storage room. It's a section of Shelton High School that there were no fire sprinklers in an apparent violation of the State Fire Safety Code. Sprinkler Stops Fire at a Kentucky High School

California Restaurant is Thankful for Sprinklers

An Oxnard, Calif., restaurant was damaged by a fire, authorities said. Firefighters responded after motorists reported smoke coming from the building, said Battalion Chief Gary Sugich of the Oxnard Fire Department.
