Sprinkler Saves Seniors Home from CBCnews.ca - Sept. 8, 2009 The P.E.I. fire marshal says a decision he made 15 years ago after a fire drill at the Miscouche Villa seniors home likely saved it this weekend. Dave Blacquiere said an overloaded multi-plug unit caused the fire at the seniors home just west of Summersidem, PE Canada. He said it was dangerously close to a curtain but the sprinkler system quickly extinguished the blaze. More Sprinkler System Rescues a Pasadena, Calif., Business from Fire from The Pasadena Citizen - Sept. 2, 2009 The automatic fire sprinkler system has proven another save recently when a fire broke out in a business last month.
