ASCA World Clinic A Success from ASCA
The 40th Annual ASCA World Clinic in Las Vegas last week offered the greatest variety of program in history with over 50 presentations in six different program tracks. It was the 5th largest attended World Clinic in history with 1,706 participants. For those of you who could not attend, 41 of the presentations were recorded and will be available for downloads as mp3 files later this month at https://www.swimmingcoach.org/ecom2. Price will be only $.99 each. Also, transcriptions will be available in book form or on CD. The CD will contain speaker’s PowerPoint Presentations as well. In the first drugs scandal of these Games, Pakistani powerlifter Naveed Ahmed Butt, 37, was given a two-year ban for steroid use. The sports at the Paralympics, which end on September 17, include athletics, swimming, powerlifting, wheelchair fencing and five-a-side and seven-a-side football, as well as goalball and boccia. More
