Commissioners OK Season Changes; TPWD Waits on Feds from the Tyler Morning Telegraph
Not all the news out of the last Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission meeting was as costly as the license-fee increase. There actually was good news, beginning with the commission approving a 70-day season and 15-bird daily bag limit for dove. However, it is not a done deal until the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service gives final approval.

Mountain (Lion) Man from the San Antonio Express-News Bill Applegate steers the blue-green Ford up one of the many desolate roads in the Big Bend. The four-wheel drive is engaged, the V-8 lugs and the only thing that can be seen through the windshield is blue sky.
