Ezcorp Abandons Value Financial Acquisition from The Associated Press via Forbes Pawn shop chain Ezcorp Inc. said last week it was abandoning its efforts to acquire Value Financial Services Inc. after the privately held company said it was terminating the deal. Value Financial, the nation's largest privately held pawnshop operator, notified Ezcorp executives that it planned to terminate the two-month-old acquisition agreement. More
