Summer Park Projects Finished Thanks to Support of Community from the Clarinda Herald-Journal With strong community support, the Clarinda, Iowa, Parks and Recreation Department has successfully completed two important summer projects. Clarinda Parks and Recreation Director Randy Pullen explained that both the construction of new restrooms at the city baseball and softball fields has been completed as well as the resurfacing of five tennis courts at Clarinda City Park. "The people in Clarinda rose up and raised the money to pay for the restroom and tennis court projects. There was a need and the people showed there is support for projects like that," Pullen said.
