Fees to Be Waived This Weekend at National Parks Including Yellowstone, Grand Teton from ABC News
People will be able to view the geysers of Yellowstone and vistas of Grand Teton free of charge one more time this weekend. The National Park Service waived admission to national parks over three weekends this summer. This weekend is the last opportunity to take advantage of free admission.

Lower Gas Prices Helping Fuel an RV Comeback from KTVN-TN Last year's $4 a gallon gas prices put the brakes on a lot of RV rentals in Reno. This year's lower prices are fueling a return to RVing that's helping boost the local economy. "We are seeing more people taking longer trips. They are going out more miles. Last year it was short trips for sure, but now it's more mileage and longer durations," says Erik Shultz, with Classic Adventure RV's in Reno.

President Obama Lauds Navistar for Advancing Clean Vehicle Technologies from RV News Magazine Hundreds of Navistar employees recently welcomed President Barack Obama to its Wakarusa, Ind., manufacturing facility to celebrate the award of a $39 million federal grant to develop and build all-electric delivery vehicles and bring jobs to the Elkhart County, Ind., communities. Through this U.S. Department of Energy grant, Navistar intends to build 400 all-electric vehicles in 2010 and expects that within a couple of years to be producing several thousand vehicles annually.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas RVing in Adirondacks from North Country Public Radio Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife Ginny are currently RVing in the Adirondacks, according to news reports. Ginny Thomas, in an interview with "The Takeaway" from somewhere in the Adirondacks, said she and Justice Thomas have been hitting the road for a while now, "Since we got our used motor home back in '99, we've been to 27 states and we have found it's a wonderful life."

U.S. Gasoline Up 9 cents, Highest Price in Seven Weeks from Reuters U.S. retail gasoline prices rose by nearly a dime over the latest week, reaching their highest level in seven weeks, the Energy Department said this week. The national price for regular unleaded gasoline climbed 9 cents from the previous week to $2.65 a gallon, down a $1.16 from a year earlier, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly survey of service stations.
