RVing Leaves Smaller Carbon Footprint than Traditional Vacation from CNW Group A new study which compares total carbon dioxide emissions demonstrates that RV vacations are more environmentally friendly than vacations involving flying, driving and hotel stays. The study, by an independent research firm specializing in travel and tourism, revealed that a family of four taking an RV vacation will generate less CO2 emissions than a family traveling by plane, renting a car, and staying in a hotel. Gas Falls to $2.45 a Gallon from CNN Gas prices lost nearly 3 cents to sell near $2.45 a gallon on average, according to a nationwide survey of filling station credit card swipes. The average price of regular unleaded gasoline dropped 2.7 cents to $2.436 a gallon from $2.463 a day before, according to the survey released by motorist group AAA. More
