Rosacea is a skin disorder that affects over 14 million Americans. This disease typically strikes individuals over the age of 40. Physicians and Skin Care Professionals are seeing rapidly increasing numbers of patients as the “aging” population continues to grow. This often-baffling disease can be difficult to diagnose and treat. Rosacea is chronic and progressive, often leading to severe disfigurement. It also causes tremendous emotional distress and embarrassment due to the persistent redness and lesions.

NCEA Esthetician Scholarship Application Due Date September 1st
Esthetician students will be eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship while attending school. These incentive scholarships will be awarded to students that demonstrate good performance in school as well as financial need.
A 250-word typed essay of the applicant's financial situation, and their desire to become an esthetician will determine the Scholarship Winner. Applicants must have enrolled and begun classes in an esthetician only training program by the application deadline and maintain at least 80% attendance and 80% grade average.
A selection committee comprised of NCEA members will review all applications that meet the basic requirements to be verified by the student’s school. There will be a limit of one scholarship recipient chosen from an individual school each year.
