APPA Pulls Funding from PIJAC

Beginning in 2010, the American Pet Product Association will no longer provide funding to the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council. In a letter dated Nov. 12, APPA board chairman Michael Farmer said the board had been concerned with PIJAC's sustainability and leadership for the past several years and, in June, unanimously decided to pull its funding.
