20th Annual America's Family Pet Expo Plays Host to Thousands of Animal Lovers from WWPIA
America’s Family Pet Expo, produced by World Wide Pet Industry Association, Inc® (WWPIA) and presented by Iams Pet Foods, drew a crowd of over 36,826 attendees to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif., April 17 -19. Now in its 20th year, the show continues to be a huge attraction for pet lovers in Southern California. Despite effects of a sluggish economy, the Pet Expo exceeded organizers’ expectations with an attendance increase of over 5.7 percent from last year, providing further evidence that family-friendly entertainment options are popular during weak economic times. Summers says U.S. Economic Free Fall has Ended from Reuters The sense of "unremitting free fall" in the U.S. economy has ended and the picture is no longer completely negative, but rather mixed, President Barack Obama's economic adviser Lawrence Summers said.
