Responsibilities of the Association & MultiView
MultiView understands the tremendous workload which challenges executives in a fast-paced association. Your association and its members require as much of your attention as possible. Launching a MultiView Online Supplier Directories requires minimal effort on the part of your association. It's outsourcing at its finest.
Association Responsibilities
Before launching the association must:
- Place a link on the home page of its Web site
- Approve a brief introductory letter announcing the Online Supplier Directory
- Share any available supplier-member data.
MultiView Responsibilities
Technical
- Design and program the Online Supplier Directory Web site, including:
- Custom graphics
- Customized categories and headings
- Data integration into the Web site "back end"
- Collect and maintain Web site usage reports
- Build and maintain an electronic interface for your association to view sales statistics and download updated supplier information
- Create a custom interface for suppliers to review and edit their individual listing information
- Implement MultiView's unique search technology to spider and index portions of each directory listee's Web site. (This empowers association members to perform Google-like searches of thousands of listee Web sites)
- Provide a CD version of the supplier directory for distribution at tradeshows and annual meetings (more info...)
Sales
- Train a dedicated sales team on the specific, unique value proposition of your association's Online Supplier Directory
- Contact each supplier member and verify contact information
- Present sponsorship opportunity(s) to qualifying suppliers
- Create each listee's Online Supplier Directory profile, including:
- Company description
- Company logo
- Web link
- E-mail link
- Contact name(s)
- Upload profile "real-time" to Web server
- Provide year-round customer support for questions and problem solving
