When people ask me what I do for a living, I often jokingly say what my dad has always said about his teaching career – “I’m just stomping out ignorance, one day at a time.” Now, whose ignorance that is depends on the day, whether it’s mine or the readers’, but I believe building informative industry news briefs, creating lasting connections with my association partners and leading a team of strong editors is what has kept my professional life interesting and my knowledge cup overflowing for the past 11 years with Multiview.

Outside of work, I’m just an East Texas girl who is super close with my family, a very proud dog mom to a gorgeous, silly yellow lab mix named Laney Lou (as evidenced by my social media feeds flooded with pics and posts about her antics), an avid supporter of my alma mater Texas A&M University and a self-proclaimed “Friends” expert (with the trivia trophies to prove it).

Other than that, the most important thing to know about me is that I really strive to find humor and positivity in most situations, and I think that makes me a more creative communicator, stronger leader and amazing friend.
