Jason Zimmerman
Content Operations Manager
I joined the Multiview team in November 2011 as a Content Editor. Over the years, I have held various titles, including Executive Editor, which allowed me to work with my own small team of editors. I served as interim Director of Publishing from January to September 2021. In my current role as Content Operations Manager, I work with other departments to help manage the day-to-day production of our News Brief products and provide support to our staff of full-time editors, contractors and interns.
Prior to working at Multiview, I graduated from TCU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. I worked in the Sports Department of The Dallas Morning News for almost nine years, where I helped cover local high school sports and edited content for print and digital publications. My belief in the need for honest, accurate and in-depth reporting continues to shape my work here at Multiview.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife, our three boys and our golden retriever, Luka. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy learning to cook new things that my family won’t eat. I love 80s movies, am a sucker for vocal harmonies and believe today’s college student-athletes absolutely should have the right to profit from the use of their name, image and likeness. Colleges and universities, TV networks and corporations have certainly profited from them for a long time. And there is now an immense amount of money being made off these 18- to 22-year-olds. (Though I’m not sure the current NIL rules are the way to do it.)
