Loyd Brumfield
Content Editor
I successfully bribed Multiview into hiring me during the summer of 2021, where I now spend my weekdays as a Content Editor working on briefs for a variety of medical, business, entertainment and financial associations. It’s fulfilling work with teammates who are simply incredible, and I get to learn a lot at my advanced age about things that previously baffled me.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism, which I employed to rave reviews in the newspaper industry as a reporter, page designer and copy editor (in News, Sports and Features – how’s that for versatility?). I spent years working at newspapers up and down the Texas coast (with a detour to Pittsburgh) before finishing up my journalism career at The Dallas Morning News. I think journalism’s insistence on attention to detail has helped me tremendously at Multiview, and that makes me a disciplined, deadline-oriented editor. But I’m still learning, and my success here wouldn’t be possible without the help of Multiview’s tremendously supportive crew.
Away from work, I volunteer as the communications director for a national nonprofit that aims to create a monument and park dedicated to service animals in Washington, D.C. I like to read, travel, take in a show or sports event from time to time and I dote on my children – who just happen to be a dog and two cats.
